In order to improve plan review and permit issuance, the Building Department has initiated a new building plan login procedure. We request that the contractor obtain the folio number of the project from the Dade County Property Appraiser in advance of applying for a permit. The login procedures are as follows:

The contractor brings in the plan(s) and registers with the clerk, and pays all upfront fees |

Once the plan review is complete, a representative of the Building Department will call the contractor regarding the approval or denial of the permit |

If the plans are approved, the contractor pays the balance of the fees and the permit is issued |
4 |
If plans are denied the contractor will pick up plans and have the necessary corrections made and re-submit |
