Ref: Continued Participation in the FDLE’s Child Abduction Response Team
The Town has received a request from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) that the Golden Beach Police Department continue to participate in FDLE Child Abduction Response Team (CART) which was established to serve the Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, and Palm Beach Counties area.
Miami-Dade County Agencies include: Aventura, Bal Harbour, Coral Gables, Doral, Hialeah, Miami, Miami Beach, Miami-Dade, Miami-Dade Schools, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Pinecrest, South Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside and the Miami-Dade States’ Attorney’s Office (SAO)
Broward County Agencies include: Broward County Sheriff, Broward County SAO, Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, and the Walton Manners Police Department.
The attached agreement is valid through December 31, 2012.
The Police Department is recommending the Town Council approve the new agreement.
