We practice community policing every day because we believe it is an integral part of the delivery of all of our police services to the one thousand residents who call this beautiful ocean community their home.  The Town's Police services include two K-9 units, a full time Marine Patrol Unit, around the clock ATV Beach Patrol, Traffice Safety Enforcement, Code Enforcement, Criminal Investigations, seven days a week Ocean Rescue, and participation ina local are Drug Task Force, along with our trademark all SUV Uniform Patrol.  In addition, to insure the expedited delivery of all other police services, the Golden Beach Police Department participates in a county-wide mutual aid agreement with the Miami-Dade Police Department.  We also work in close cooperation with all federal law enforcement agencies including the agencies of the Department of Homeland Security.

The quality of life for the people who live or work in Golden Beach is teh primary concern of the Town and all of our Officers and non-sworn employees.  This is why the Town makes such a significant commitment to its public safety.  We are committed to serving all of our residents and we encourage you to contact us any time you have a suggestion how we can improve our services.
