Welcome to the Town of Golden Beach!

As Mayor of this fine community, I would like to welcome you to our online presentation of why we call the Town of Golden Beach home.  Golden Beach may be the best-kept secret in Miami Dade County.  Nestled on the Atlantic Ocean between Sunny Isles Beach and Hallandale Beach, this is a community in the truest sense of the word where neighbors meet in parks, at the beach, on tennis courts, or just biking, walking, or jogging on our safe streets.  A town which is comprised of a barrier island and three man-made islands, Golden Beach’s seclusion amongst its big-city neighbors has kept it uniquely secure and in the context of “small-town”.

The diversity of our residents fosters an atmosphere for networking personally and professionally.  Golden Beach provides a standard of living that so many people desire and we represent the best of the American past, present and future.

Although Golden Beach is minutes away from the excitement of Miami Beach, the region’s finest malls, and an array of cultural activity, our Town is a residential bastion for family living.  Over the last decade, the demographics of the Town have changed.  The population has transitioned from the older retired snowbird that only spends six months a year in town to the family with young children who live in town all year long.  From pot luck dinners, Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day observances, New Year’s Eve galas, and year-long family-oriented activities, Golden Beach is truly a friendly community of which the residents are justifiably proud.

This has created an atmosphere that has fostered the reality envisioned by the founders of the Town of Golden Beach – “a small, quiet community along the coast devoted entirely to family life near enough to the large centers yet far enough away to insure the peace and quiet of suburban life” – R.W. and Henry G. Ralston 1928.
