Certificate of Occupancy PDF Print E-mail

A Certificate of Occupancy (CO) is required for all new buildings and additions constructed in the Town of Golden Beach prior to being occupied. Prior to a Certificate of Occupancy being issued, all final inspections must be requested, performed and approved. When a certificate of occupancy is applied for, several prerequisites must be met:

  1. All inspection has passed, including landscaping, and irrigation
  2. The permit holder must ensure that all subcontractors have obtained and paid for the required permits
  3. Submit a completed FEMA flood elevation certificate
  4. Submit as built sealed plans and survey
