Contractors are required to provide valid certificates of insurance including proof of Workers Compensation Insurance. Owner-builders, applying for an owner-builder permit, are required to provide proof of insurance for the construction project or alteration project in the following amounts:

1. Liability insurance in the amount of $50,000 per person
2. $100,000 per accident, for bodily injury
3. $5,000 per accident, for property damage
