The bearing capacity under each structure shall be investigated and certified by a registered professional engineer as set forth in Sections 1804.3.2 of the Florida Building Code. Soil tests shall be submitted with building plans. The minimum requirements that the engineering reports of the soil tests include:

1. Site identification
2. A statement of soil bearing capacityv
3. A list of all tests performed
4. A statement describing any procedures that must be followed for preparation of the site (all statements must be signed and sealed)

Should piles be a part of the construction procedures, those conditions and requirements of Section 1805.1 of the Florida Building Code shall be followed.
