The Golden Beach Police Department Honor Guard Team’s primary role is to serve as “guardians of the colors” displaying and escorting the US National flag and the Town’s flag on ceremonial occasions. The Honor Guard is comprised of sworn personnel from within the police department.  The team members are disciplined, dependable and able to work as a unified team.  The Golden Beach Honor Guard represents the Town’s police department at several special details throughout the year, including Town, county, state and national events.  The team pays tribute to our fallen brothers and sisters in law enforcement during memorial and funeral services.  The presentation of the colors and marching are all functions of this team.  The participation of the Department’s Honor Guard Team is based on the significance of the event, combined with operational commitments.
