Councilwman Judy Lusskin has resided in The Town of Golden Beach for over 14 years. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education and Speech from Long Island University in New York, where she served as both Treasurer and then President of her college Sorority. Mrs. Lusskin was Program Director for the Michael-Ann Russell JCC for 15 years; there she was responsible for a multitude of programs, from infant day care through all Teen Programming. She supervised over 100 staff and initiated an extensive employment/orientation program yearly.
Mrs. Lusskin has been extremely active in the Town of Golden Beach.
Councilwoman Lusskin founded the Golden Beach Youth Leadership Group, Co-Chaired the 75th Anniversary Celebration committee, is a Previous Chairperson and active member of the Town’s Recreation Committee, and additionally serves on the Beautification and Security/Safety Committees. In addition
Judy is the Town’s representative on the North Dade Transportation Board and is the Town’s Representative to the Miami Dade League of Cities.
Mrs. Lusskin is a member of the Executive Board of Beth Moshe Congregation.
Councilwoman Lusskin has her private pilot’s certificate…when she is not busy with politics…she and her husband, Bret, can be found navigating the sunny skies of Florida.
