 Amy Rojas was born in Bay City, Michigan. She is a 1988 graduate of the University of Miami Law School and is currently an active member of the Florida Bar. From 1989 to 1991, she was a Judicial Law Clerk at the Third District Court of Appeals. Since that time, she has served as an Assistant District Counsel for the United States Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
She and her husband, Tony, have lived in the Town of Golden Beach since 1991. They have twin sons, Jason and Jeremy. Prior to joining the Town Council, she was a member of the Security Committee, and she is currently a member of the Comprehensive Planning Board.
