Welcome to the Town of Golden Beach!
As Mayor of this fine community, I would like to extend to you a warm welcome to our online presentation of why we call the Town of Golden Beach home. Golden Beach may very well be the best-kept secret in all of Miami-Dade County. Nestled on the Atlantic Ocean between Sunny Isles Beach and Hallandale Beach, we have the perfect balance of security, exclusivity and community. A Town which is comprised of a barrier island and three man-made islands, Golden Beach’s seclusion amongst its big city neighbors has kept it uniquely secure and laid the groundwork for small town tranquility.
Even though Golden Beach is a short distance away from all the excitement of Miami Beach, the region’s finest malls, and an array of cultural activity our Town is a residential mecca for family living. Over the last decade, the demographics of the Town have changed. With the population transitioning from retired snowbirds, that only spend part of the year in town, to more families with young children who live in the town year-round.
Being a resident of Golden Beach also gives you access to excellent amenities. You can find our residents enjoying one of our nine parks; relaxing on their personal staffed private beach; out enjoying a stroll on our secure streets; practicing their putting on our two putting greens; or enjoying a game of bocce ball, tennis, or pickleball on our private courts. The Town is actively undergoing construction on our new Reimagined Tweddle Park which will incorporate the addition of a basketball court, padel court, dog park, tot lot, and playground. Ground was also broken on our new state-of-the-art Wellness Center, which will encompass over 14,000 sq ft of useable space, and has an estimated completion date at the end of 2026. It will feature roughly 6,000 sqft of dedicated gym space and will also include additional exercise and recreational rooms for resident utilization.
The diversity of our residents fosters a great atmosphere for networking both personally and professionally. From Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day observances, an extravagant Halloween event, New Year’s Eve galas, year-long family-oriented activities, and world class amenities, Golden Beach provides an opulent standard of living that so many people want and desire to have. It is truly a tight-knit community that we are justifiably proud of.
This has created an atmosphere that has fostered the reality envisioned by the founders of the Town of Golden Beach – “a small, quiet community along the coast devoted entirely to family life near enough to the large centers yet far enough away to insure the peace and quiet of suburban life” – R.W. and Henry G.
